Stoke Gifford Annual Village Fete and Dog Show – Monday May 29th 2023 from 1pm to 4pm

The fete is sponsored by Stoke Gifford Parish Council and Stoke Gifford Trust. There isn’t a fixed charge for entry but we do ask for a donation. Access to the rides and inflatables, refreshments (tea, coffee and cake and a vegetarian Indian option) are provided free of charge. Please make a donation if you can. All funds collected will be used to fund future fetes.

The local scouts will be fund raising by cooking burgers and sausages

Please note that there will also be paid for activities and other refreshments available and that stalls are independent of the fete organisers.

The Trust car park will be reserved for individuals with a valid blue badge for the duration of the fete.

Information for stall holders…

The Stoke Gifford Village Fete is an ideal opportunity to raise the profile of your group, do a bit of fundraising or have an “arts and crafts” stall. If you’d like a stall, please get in touch.

We can supply a table and you are welcome to bring an additional table (and perhaps some garden chairs). We suggest you bring a gazebo if the weather is changeable as we cannot move stalls inside. Setting up is from 11am and the car access to the Trust Ground will be closed at 12 noon for safety reasons. Car parking for stall holders is available along the boundary fence on the Field Farm Close (North) side of the Trust Ground but we will also try and make sure that there is space to park behind the pitches. We ask for a fee of £10, payable on the day, for stallholders who do not represent a recognised local charity or not-for-profit group

The car park entrance will be closed to general traffic, so please continue up North Road, bear right onto Rock Lane at the Baptist Church and turn immediately right onto the field through the gate on Rock Lane.

Once on the field, please drive slowly and take directions from the stewards who will be wearing hi-vis jackets. The pitches will be marked by tables and will be arranged in an L shape around the cricket square in the centre of the field.

Please book your place so that we can reserve you a space. Please do not turn up on the day without booking as we will probably have to turn you away. This can be done by contacting the Trust by email to contact@stokegiffordtrust.org.uk or by calling 0117 4055372.

The Trust car park will be reserved for individuals with a valid blue badge for the duration of the fete
